Who We Are & What We Do
Happy Triangle Foundation was founded in August 2016 to create a space for educational growth and thinking together. The foundation works in three key areas: Education, Health, and Community Development.

It began with workshops on critical thinking, gender, and climate change, and also included skills workshops with women and health awareness programs. Our goal is to facilitate spaces for new thought in economically and socially vulnerable children and women.

Our motto: Let's Think Together.
The name: 'Happy' is inspired by Bhutan’s Gross National Happiness Index, and 'Triangle' symbolises ‘delta’, a (Greek) symbol representing change. The name stands for ‘joyful change’ and refers to a Buddhist state of happiness that is joyful and tranquil rather than extreme.

Our Mission
To create and contribute to the creation of a discrimination-free society.
Our Vision
To make community nourishment (physical and mental) accessible to all, irrelevant of any discrimination, especially with a priority for underserved communities.
Our Values
Compassion

We believe community support starts with care for each individual.
Collaboration

We believe our unity and ‘thinking together’ can make our society progress.
Anti Discrimination

We believe an evolved society holds no place for the multi-dimensional discriminations of caste, gender, religion, and similar factors.
Respect

We believe respecting nature and all sentient beings is foundational to create a concious and positive change.
Integrity

We believe it is essential to act ethically and meaningfully with each undertaking.
